A mobile communication apparatus capable of browsing a markup-page, and a control method thereof are provided to enable a user to select conveniently a connection object included in the markup-page. A communication interface unit(110) receives a markup-page including at least one object through a communication channel from a markup-page providing server, and a display unit(150) displays the markup-page. When a hyperlink connection command is sensed, an input unit(140) generates a link connection signal, and a controller(120) judges the kind of the markup-pages when the link connection signal is received.
