A coffee brewer and a corresponding network-based method and an apparatus thereof are provided to enable a user to obtain various information contents and use various functions of a coffee brewer. A coffee brewer(101) comprises a coffee extracting unit(100), a sensor(103), an external network interface(105), a final user interface(104), a processing unit(102). The sensor senses the food component used in the coffee extracting unit. The external network interface easily connects the coffee brewer to a remote resource(107). The processing unit is combined in the sensor, the external network interface, and the final user interface to be operable. The processing unit independently uses the information about the food component used by the coffee extracting unit. The processing unit obtains the information from the remote resource. The processing unit provides the information after the final user interface to the final user. |
