SECURITY SETTING SYSTEM AND THE CONTROL METHOD FOR USING CLURSTER FUNCTION IN WIRELESS NETWORK SYSTEM

A security setting system using a cluster function in a wireless network system and a control method thereof are provided to improve stability and mobility of a wireless LAN service by reducing a handover time of a Wifi phone in a WPA environment. At least one or more access points(100) include a candidate terminal list of the neighboring access points. At least one or more access points determine the authentication state of the terminal requiring the connection through the previously stored candidate terminal list if the arbitrary terminal requires the connection. The access point transmits the authentication success message to the corresponding terminal if the terminal is authenticated. A terminal(200) does not perform an authentication process with the corresponding access point and performs the handover with the neighboring access point when the authentication success message is received after trying the connection request to the access point.
