[Class 26] [Also in Group VI] Apparatus for carbonating bath water comprises a carbonating tank 1 provided with an outlet 4 and cock 18 which admits water to the bath through a pivoted pipe 29. A control valve 21 below the cock 18 is controlled by a float 26 so that the flow of water is restricted on a person entering the bath, a chain attached to the float and to the pipe 29 ensuring that the carbonated water is directed at the person at such time. An electric fan 37 and resistance element 39 ensure that warm air is blown over the surface of the bath to remove carbon dioxide, the fan and element being controlled by means of the actuating handle 19 of the cock 18 and a switch 40.
