A wheel (10) able to travel in more than one direction is disclosed. The wheel is rotatable about a main axis and includes a series of rollers aligned in a plane normal to the axis. The wheel has a frame (11) with a plurality of supports (15), where each roller is mounted on a corresponding roller axle (16) extending between adjacent supports. Each roller axle is linear and integral with the supports to form a continuous ring of material about the periphery of the frame.
