A side air bag structure of a vehicle is provided to prevent injuries to passengers due to an air bag cushion and improve the deployment of the side air bag by controlling the development direction of the side air bag. A side air bag structure of a vehicle comprises an air bag cushion(40), a development controlling unit(100), and a chamber(10). The air bag cushion is arranged inside the seat of a vehicle(20) and protect passengers(50) by deploying between a seat and a car body inner panel(30) toward the passengers in a car crash. The development controlling unit controls the development direction of the air bag cushion and is formed at the one side of the air bag cushion. The chamber is protruded toward the seat in development of the air bag cushion.
