The arrangement (4) has a subframe (6) rigidly fixed to a light land vehicle (1) e.g. trailer. A sliding unit (8) is placed relative to the base with respect to the subframe. A locking unit (17) locks the base with the subframe for permitting their mutual immobilization in a transport position. The sliding unit is distinct from a maintaining unit (23) that locally maintains the base and the subframe to be inseparable during their relative sliding, where the maintaining unit is distinct from the locking unit. An independent claim is also included for a method for deploying a loading arrangement.
