The reservoir (31) has lower and upper shells (34, 36) assembled together and molded with plastic material. The lower shell has supply orifices (10, 12) of tandem master brake cylinders of braking circuits, in its bottom, where each braking circuit is provided with a large filtering surface. A flat filtering screen i.e. filter (40), is continuously fixed along plane contours (32) that is closed by welding and is situated above the supply orifices, where the screen is made of plastic material. The screen covers the supply orifices. An independent claim is also included for a method for fabricating a brake liquid reservoir for a braking circuit of a motor vehicle.
