A push-pull chain 1 for use with an actuator having a drive sprocket 29 and a guide surface 22, 23, 28 to drive the chain includes pairs of inner links and outer links with alternate pairs of the inner links being sequentially coupled to alternate pairs of the outer links by parallel driving pins with rollers. The links are shaped to allow the chain to bend in one direction only and at least two rollers 12, 13 are placed on each of the driving pins. One of the rollers on a given driving pin engages only the sprocket at the same time that the other roller on the pin engages only the guide surface of the actuator. |
