The base i.e. electric outlet base (1), has conducting elements linked to one of poles of a power supply network, where the base is installed with alternating current. The elements are extended from a side face (42) to another side face (44). The elements comprise a connection tab (99) at one end and a recess at another end. The tab and the recess are located on sides of the faces (42, 44), respectively. The recess receives a connection tab of another base along a direction of a front face (12) towards a bottom face (45). The tab (99) extends parallel to general orientation of the face (42). An independent claim is also included for an assembly comprising two electrical appliance bases.
