PURPOSE: A build-up measurement device for a coated steel coil is provided to reduce a fault of a build-up generated from a surface of the coated steel coil by precisely detecting a position and a size of the build-up. CONSTITUTION: A build-up measurement device for coated steel(8) includes a fixing plate. A first moving unit is vertically moved from the fixing plate. A moving plate is moved by means of the first moving unit. A second moving unit is provided in such a manner that the second moving unit moves lengthwise along the moving frame. A measurement assembly(30) is moved by means of the second moving unit. A distance measurement unit(40) is attached to the measurement assembly(30). An edge detecting unit(50) and a surface profile measurement unit(60) are mounted on the measurement assembly(30). A main controller(70) calculates a distance profile. The distance profile is displayed in a display section(80). |
