<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrical contact material which has wear resistance under a relatively high load of about 1 N or more, and is superior in sliding characteristics and superior in heat resistance, and moreover has corrosion resistance; and to provide a method for manufacturing the electrical contact material having such characteristics, and an electrical contact using the electrical contact material. <P>SOLUTION: The electrical contact material includes: a surface layer consisting of a noble metal or an alloy 1 mainly containing the noble metal; a first organic coating film layer 4 consisting of either of a fatty amine or mercaptan, or the mixture of both provided on the surface of the surface layer; and a heat-resistant second organic coating film 2 formed from an organic compound having an ether linkage group and provided on the surface of the first organic coating film layer, and is excellent in corrosion resistance and sliding characteristics. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
