PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an end tube capable of ensuring the desired strength at low cost. SOLUTION: The end tube 20 is manufactured by performing the friction welding of three tubular components 30', 40', 50' and the finishing thereof. These three components 30', 40', 50' are formed into one integrated end tube 20' by performing the friction welding of welding faces 32' and 42', and welding faces 44' and 52'. The end tube 20' is subjected to the finish-processing to manufacture the end tube 20. The finish processing is executed by the machining. During the machining, burrs generated during the friction welding are removed. Thus, stress concentration in a weld part 62 (a joined part of the welding faces 32' and 42') and a weld part 64 (a joined part of the welding faces 44' and 52') is substantially eliminated thereby.
