PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide inexpensive and highly reliable data communication device by using only a cache memory and a Flash ROM incorporated in a CPU without using any external RAM. SOLUTION: A CPU 13 stores data received from a reception part 11 in a cache memory 14; defines one page which is the minimum unit of a capacity, and smaller than the storage capacity of the cache memory 14, with which write and erasure of data to a Flash ROM 12 is operable or its integral multiple as one transfer unit; transfers the data to a temporary storage area 12b each time when data capacity stored in the cache memory 14 reaches one transfer unit, and when any signal is not transmitted from the other data communication device; reads the data stored in the temporary storage area 12b by transfer unit from the temporary storage area; makes the cache memory 14 temporarily store the data; and immediately transfers the data to a permanent storage area 12a for storage.
