PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens drive mechanism which can stably support a lead screw and reduce the driving load while maintaining the centering function to stabilize the lens stop position. SOLUTION: The lens drive mechanism includes a lens holder 10 to hold an imaging lens 11, the lead screw 7 to move the lens holder 10 back and forth in the imaging light axial direction, and a first support 1 and a second support 8 to support the lead screw 7 in a manner free to turn. The second support 8 includes a support concave section 8a having a tip to support the lead screw 7. The lead screw 7 includes a support 7d in point contact with the support concave section 8a.
