PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact imaging lens, which includes two lenses having short focal distance and optical length as a whole, with excellent optical characteristics. SOLUTION: In this imaging lens, a diaphragm S1, a first lens L1 that is a meniscus lens with its convex surface facing an object side and having positive power, and a second lens L2 with its convex surface facing the object side and having positive power, are arranged in order from the object side toward the image plane side to satisfy the following conditional expressions (1) and (2).
