PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a lens barrel having an image blur correction device capable of surely and easily performing image blur correction by effectively preventing grease applied to a gear part from scattering and adhering to another member in operation of an image blur correction mechanism. SOLUTION: The lens barrel includes: a movable member which holds a correction lens for image blur correction and moves to have a component in a perpendicular direction to an optical axis; a regulating member which regulates operation of the movable member, is turnable and has a gear part; a driving means which has a gear part meshed with the gear part of the regulating member and turns the regulating member; and a fixed member which fixedly holds the driving means. The fixed member has a recessed bottom part, and the gear part of the regulating member and the gear part of the driving means are both housed in the bottom part of the fixed member.
