PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solenoid valve capable of manufacturing at low cost a stator core to meet the required characteristics. SOLUTION: The solenoid valve 10 is equipped with a stator core 23 having a yoke part 30 and core part 40 arranged coaxially to each other and a magnetic resistance part 51 installed between them, a plunger 24 supported slidably inside the stator core 23 and moving in the axial direction by a magnetic attraction force generated in the area to an attracting member 42 of the core part 40, a coil 22 to generate the magnetic attraction force by energizing the stator core 23, a valve sleeve 70 attached to the stator core 23, and a spool 80 supported under guidance slidably by the valve sleeve 70 and working in compliance with the movement of the plunger 24. The core part 40 of the stator core 23 is formed from the attracting member 42 to exert the magnetic attraction force to the plunger 24 and a supporting member 41 to support the attracting member 42, wherein the attracting member 42 and the supporting member 41 are provided separately.
