PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing device, capable of improving a lubrication service life during which lubrication is possible, in spite of such simple constitution in which lubricant needs not to be supplied from an external device. SOLUTION: The rolling bearing device D is provided with an outer ring 1 and an inner ring 2 provided with raceway surfaces 12 and 22, and rolling elements 3 between the outer ring 1 and the inner ring 2 to get in contact with the raceway surfaces 12 and 22 to roll. A rotation shaft S is thus supported to be rotatable. A storage part 71 to store grease G, a grease supply passage 72 to supply grease G to between the outer ring 1 and the inner ring 2 from the storage part 71, and a valve V to open/close the grease supply passage 72 are formed on an outer ring spacer 7 provided to adjoin the outer ring 1. The valve V is provided with a valve element V1 to open/close the grease supply passage 72, and a spring V2 of shape memory alloy for driving the valve element V1. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
