PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve noise immunity characteristics, in an engine control device. SOLUTION: A first diode 23, a second diode 24 and a clamp resistance 27 are connected to a reversal input terminal of a comparator 20. Thus, when a rotational signal exceeding an operating voltage range of the comparator 20 is generated by a generator 10, the rotational signal is reshaped in a wave so that an upper limit value of the rotational signal is clamped between a first threshold value Vth 1 and specific voltage 12 by the first diode 23 and the clamp resistance 27. The rotational signal is also reshaped in a wave so that a lower limit value of the rotational signal is clamped between a second threshold value Vth 2 and a ground voltage 13 by the second diode 24 and the clamp resistance 27.
