METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DEHYDRATING SLUDGE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for dehydrating sludge, in each of which the efficiency when sludge is dehydrated finally is improved to stably obtain dehydrated cake having low water content when the sludge to be generated by treatment of waste water is treated. SOLUTION: The method for dehydrating sludge comprises the steps of: adding a flocculant to the sludge, which is generated from a waste water treatment facility and has 1-5% sludge concentration, and subjecting the flocculant-added sludge to primary flocculation treatment; subjecting the sludge subjected to the primary flocculation treatment to high concentration condensation treatment so that the sludge concentration becomes 6-8%; adding the flocculant to the sludge subjected to the high concentration condensation treatment and subjecting the flocculant-added sludge to secondary flocculation treatment; and dehydrating the sludge which is subjected to the secondary flocculation treatment and has high concentration.
