PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainer basket capable of being placed in any flat mounting surface and capable of efficiently drying and storing especially long kitchen utensils and handled kitchen utensils. SOLUTION: The drainer basket 7 has an outer peripheral frame 10, reinforcing crosspieces 12 and a drainboard 13. The drainer basket 7 also has surrounding frames 11 on the inner front sides of the outer peripheral frame to connect the side of the outer peripheral frame and the front of the outer peripheral frame. At least part of the front of the outer peripheral frame 10 is lower than the rear part or the side parts of the outer peripheral part, and higher than the bottom 18 of the drainboard 13.
