<p>A side turn indicator comprising a cylindrical shaped means (1), at least one connecting member (2) slidingly fitted in the cylindrical shaped means (1), a knob (3) being fitted with outer end of the connecting member (2), the knob (3) being slidable in a slit (4) provided one side of the cylindrical shaped means (1), the outer end of the connecting member (2) being connected to one end of an indicator assembly (9), at least one retaining slot (5) on one end of the slit (5) provided to retain/lock the knob (3) in position. The side turn indicator may be operated by spring (10), hydraulic means, pneumatic means, magnetic means etc. It is used to give the direction, the driver would be turning towards right or left. The side turn indicator is used on vehicles such as bicycles, 2/3 wheelers / mechanized vehicle etc.</p> |
