The syringe (1) has a hollow syringe body (3) for accommodating a medical active substance, where the body has an end (11) for delivering an active substance and an open end (13). A stopper (7) is movable in the syringe body and tightly closed by area in the body, where the area serves for accommodation of the substance. A piston rod (21) has an end (23) that is coupled with the stopper and an opposite end (29), and an aseptic secondary package e.g. cylindrical casing, with an inner area provided for accommodation of the syringe. A foil is fastened to the package through plastic welding. An independent claim is also included for a method for packing a syringe.
