<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To input characters even to electronic equipment whose display unit is limited in size like a mobile phone through easy operation from a touch panel provided to the display unit. <P>SOLUTION: Respective characters ("a, ka, sa/ta, na, ha/ma, ya, ra/wa) in the "a" column are allocated to respective preset character input frames and displayed. When one of the character input frames where the respective characters in the "a" column are displayed is pressed, the remaining characters ("i, u, e, o") in the character row containing the character displayed in the pressed character input frame are displayed in character input frames adjacent to the pressed character input frame without reference to whether there is a character being already displayed and when the character input frame is released from being pressed, the character ("o") displayed in the character input frame pressed right before the character input frame is released from being pressed is determined as an input character. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
