<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a memory control device that can reduce the boot time of a computer while suppressing an increase in storage capacity used. <P>SOLUTION: The memory control device comprises an initialization means for storing initialization information indicating an initialization state of each predetermined area of a main storage memory in a directory memory for holding a caching state of each predetermined area of the main storage memory relative to a cache memory of a CPU, and when accessing the predetermined area of the main storage memory, initializing the predetermined area according to the initialization information in the directory memory corresponding to the predetermined area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
