<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording sheet, the ink accepting layer of which is mainly made of not silica that is a valuable pigment, the unevenness of a support of which is reduced by the undercoating layer of the ink accepting layer, at the same time, in which no ununiform printing develops and which has high printing homogeneity and is economical, and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: In this inkjet recording sheet having at least one ink accepting layer provided on one side or on both the sides of a support, the undercoating layer consisting of the ink accepting layer mainly includes calcined clay and adhesive under the condition that ≥70 mass% of the total pigments included in the undercoating layer is the calcined clay and the undercoating layer is provided by being coated with a soft-tipped blade coater. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
