<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing liquid which enables preparing of recorded matter with high picture quality and excellent fixing properties without impairing the original texture of paper in the preparation of a simple recorded matter, with regard to the formation of an image under an inkjet recording system, and also an inkjet recording method by which to be able to easily obtain the excellent recorded matter and accomplish ideally saved energy consumption with the help of the image processing liquid. <P>SOLUTION: This image processing liquid is intended for applying to a region including at least, an image given to a recording medium under the inkjet system. Further, the image processing liquid contains at least, a heat-fusing particle which fuses by heating beyond a fusion point after the application.
