<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite machine which can set setting information, including usage limit setting information, showing a usage limit for each user in a variety of functions, by synchronizing the information with another composite machine which is connected via a network. <P>SOLUTION: The composite machine comprises: a clock part 19 for recognizing a time of day; a setting information database 20 for storing the setting information and an updated time of day; a synchronized party information database 21 for storing synchronized party information which specifies a composite machine of the synchronized party of the setting information; a transmission part for transmitting the updated setting information and its updated time of day to the composite machine of the synchronized party specified by the synchronized party information of the synchronized party information database 21 when the setting information stored in the setting information database 20 is updated by user operation; a receiving part for receiving the setting information and its updated time of day transmitted by another composite machine; and a synchronization part 17, which has a synchronization update part for updating the setting information stored in the setting information database 20 according to the setting information received by the receiving part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
