PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drum type ice making machine preventing a refrigerant from flowing down to a lower stage refrigerant space from an upper stage refrigerant space when a refrigerant space formed between an inner cylinder having the inner peripheral surface as an ice making surface and an outer cylinder erected concentrically with the inner cylinder is formed into at least two stages of refrigerant spaces. SOLUTION: An ice making drum 10 comprises the inner cylinder 11 erected with the inner peripheral surface as the ice making surface; an upper stage outer cylinder 13 and a lower stage outer cylinder 14 erected concentrically with the inner cylinder 11 to form a refrigerant space S for a refrigerant to pass through, between themselves and the inner cylinder 11; and an annular partition wall member 15 welded to the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 11 to partition the refrigerant space S into two upper and lower stage refrigerant spaces S1, S2 at an intermediate part in the axial direction.
