PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure high vibration resistant performance in a horizontal direction, by damping oscillation of a gimbal piston while increasing a load support capability by using a coil spring in addition to an air spring, in an isolator (vibration resistant device) of an air spring type having the gimbal piston. SOLUTION: In the vibration resistant device, a height h4 of a lower end of a support rod 20 as a pivot point of the gimbal piston is set so that the height h4 becomes apparently lower than a height h3 of an oscillation center of a piston body 13 displaced downward, by using the coil spring 23 additionally, and thereby the oscillation of the gimbal piston is damped. A spherical load bearing surface 20b is disposed to an upper end of a support rod 20 to absorb vibration in a horizontal direction, by rolling of a load disk 22 thereon and movement with tilt of the support rod 20.
