PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent drainage from a bathtub from overflowing into a wash place, even if the drainage inflows in large quantity, in a bathroom drainage device with a swirling flow formation-type drain trap. SOLUTION: An inflow port 11 of a peripheral wall of a receiving chamber 20 is connected to a drain socket 4 of a bathtub pan 1. Since the inflow port 11 is directed in a tangential direction, the water flowing into the receiving the 20 swirls along the peripheral wall. Since the bathtub drainage flowing into the drain socket 4 partially flows out into a drain pipe 7 via a bypass channel 30, the water is prevented from overflowing to the wash place from the receiving chamber 20. The level (W<SB>2</SB>) of the topmost floor surface 34a of the bypass channel is set higher than the level (W<SB>1</SB>) of an upper edge of a topmost sheathing board 51 of a main drainage channel, so that the strong swirling flow can be formed in the receiving chamber 20 even if the drainage from the bathtub flows in at a low flow rate.
