PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting attachment comprising a base, having a rotary driving device for rotary driving cutting drums while supporting, capable of excavating without being obstructed by the residual soil at a cut portion. SOLUTION: This cutting attachment 1 comprises the base 3 having a connecting and fixing part at the rear and a rotary driving means 2 therein; and the pair of cutting drums 4 forwardly and rotatably installed on both right and left sides of the base 3 through the rotary driving means and formed by implanting bits in the outer peripheral surface. The pair of cutting drums 4 are so formed that at least the cutting path surfaces 4b of the drums are brought into contact with each other on the base 3 side so that a failure to cut does not present on the cutting surface of the base in the advancing direction.
