<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intermediate connection structure of a superconducting cable, which achieves compaction and deal with high capacity. <P>SOLUTION: The intermediate connection structure of the superconducting cable 1 supports a connection portion J between cable cores 2, 2 of the superconducting cable 1 in a refrigerant container 4, wherein a cylindrical protective cover 3 for housing and supporting the connection portion J between the cable cores 2, 2 is disposed in the refrigerant container 4. With this configuration, the protective cover 3 restricts the connection portion J to be dynamically a point of deflection between the cable cores 2, 2 so as to prevent bending, the load is uniformly dispersed and the connection portion J is supported in a stable state. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
