PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ejector capable of maintaining good operating conditions without using an expensive electronic control means and preventing a flow of a liquid refrigerant, and a refrigerant circulation passage having the ejector. SOLUTION: The ejector 3 for expanding a refrigerant in the refrigerant circulation passage is provided with: a refrigerant suction chamber 13 having an inlet 15 for an approximately gaseous refrigerant; a nozzle 4 surrounded by the refrigerant suction chamber 13, having an inlet 10 for a liquid refrigerant and injecting the liquid refrigerant to the approximately gaseous refrigerant; a valve 18 capable of controlling a cross section of a refrigerant flow passage inside the nozzle 4; and a spring 20 acting on the valve 18.
