<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for continuously producing a dialkylaminoalkyl (meth)acrylate by utilizing an ester interchange reaction for inhibiting the production of N,N'-dimethylpiperazine as a byproduct. <P>SOLUTION: This method for producing the dialkylaminoalkyl (meth)acrylate is provided by reacting raw material components consisting of a dialkylamino alcohol and methyl (meth)acrylate by supplying them to a reaction vessel, at a 90 to 110°C range in the presence of tetramethyl titanate, promoting the reaction while azeotropically distilling off methanol as a byproduct together with methyl (meth)acrylate, distilling the obtained reaction liquid and recovering a first low boiling component containing the dialkylaminoalkyl (meth)acrylate and un-reacted raw material components, and then repeating the distillation to obtain the dialkylaminoalkyl (meth)acrylate containing≤0.1 mass% of N,N'-dimethylpiperazine. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
