PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat holding device capable of surely holding a seat in the state of stretching a band without requiring complicated adjustment of band length and without an individual difference. SOLUTION: A base part 32 includes a nearly dog leg shape guide groove 4 formed of a moving groove part 41, in which the base part 32 and a guide pin part 31c can relatively move in the longitudinal direction of a band part 32, and a pin lock groove part 42 recessed from a band connection part (a) to a side opposite to the band connection part (a) in the moving groove part 41. The base part 32 also includes an operating protrusion 5 for operating to lock and unlock the guide pin part 31c relatively to the pin lock groove part 42. Length of the band part 35 is set so that the band part 35 is stretched at a predetermined tension by locking the guide pin part 31c with the pin lock groove part 42 in the state of hooking a hook part 34 on an assist grip 33 for lock.
