PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrostatic sorting apparatus that can separate and sort a mixture in a high-purity, preventing the components in the charged mixture from attracting each other and agglomerating. SOLUTION: The electrostatic sorting apparatus is composed of a material feeding unit 1, a friction charging unit 2, a conveying unit 3 using vibration, two electrodes 4a and 4b installed oppositely to each other and a recovery box 5, wherein a vibration unit 33 is controlled so that vibration amplitude of a conveying pass 32 gets larger gradually from an inlet 3a toward an outlet 3b. The components of the charged mixture (plastic chips: 10a and 10b) are thus prevented from attracting each other and agglomerating and even agglomerating components are separated on the conveying unit 3. Each component of the mixture can therefore obtain certainly the effect of the electric field impressed by two electrodes 4a and 4b, which enables separation and sorting of the mixture in a high-purity without missorting.
