PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently conduct coating work of a sealing agent without requiring a wide working space nor troublesome adjustment of a coating site, in coating the sealing agent. SOLUTION: The cylindrical part 14 of the main body 12 of a device 10 for coating a sealing agent, which can be engaged with the shank 32 of a self-locking nut 30, is pressed so that the opening end of the cylindrical part 14 reaches the caulking part 36. The loading part 16 of the main body 12 is thus located automatically (without any positioning) at a specified position close to a gap S. A sealing agent 22 filled in the loading part 16 is then squeezed out by bending and crushing the loading part 16 and coated in the gap S. The coating work of the sealing agent 22 can thus conducted easily and efficiently without troublesome positioning of coating. In addition, a wide working space for handling a coating gun or the like is not necessary and a coating location of the sealing agent 22 is set more freely. COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
