The invention relates to a method and a device (10) for heating metal parts by induction, wherein said metal parts are heated to a predetermined temperature inside inductors (11) powered by generators (12) in order to shape them using a press (17). The device (10) includes at least one individual inductor (11) associated with at least one generator (12) dedicated to said individual inductor (11) in order to heat the metal parts by holding them during a first predetermined time interval in said individual inductor (11) for heating each part to the shaping temperature thereof.
