A METHOD, INTERCONNECTING FUNCTION ENTITY AND TERMINAL EQUIPMENT FOR IMPLEMENTING VOICE CALL CONTINUITY

A method, interconnecting function entity and terminal equipment for implementing voice call continuity are provided. The method for implementing voice call continuity comprises the user accesses an IP network through the interconnecting function entity,when a user is in a circuit switched (CS) network; the interconnecting function entity associates the CS voice session based on the IP network voice bearer with the core network bearer of the user CS voice session. The embodiment of the invention has an advantage of implementing the voice call continuity from the CS network to the IP network through a single receiver voice call continuity handover.
