<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display system which visually compounds an object to be expressed that is a real object with a video to present it, and which performs expression such that the real object is made to blend with the video as if the real object is transparent. <P>SOLUTION: The display system which visually compounds the object to be expressed that is the real object with the video to present it includes: a first display equipped with a display surface and displaying a first video on the display surface; a first polarizing plate disposed to cover the display surface and having an axis of polarization in a predetermined direction; a space part for arranging the object to be expressed on the side of the first polarizing plate opposite to the display surface; a second display projecting a second video to the space part through a second polarizing plate arranged in a crossed Nichol manner to the first polarizing plate; and a control part controlling the first video displayed by the first display and the second video projected by the second display. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
