<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an offset type surgical manipulator which allows observation in a wide visual field to the bottom of a surgical part by using a microscope or an endoscope, and to provide a surgical microscope system. <P>SOLUTION: Since a distal end tube portion 12 is at a position offset from a proximal end tube portion via an intermediate tube portion 11, a space is formed above the distal end tube portion 12. This allows installation of the microscope in the space or insertion of the microscope from the space. This allows the observation in a wide visual field to the bottom of the surgical part by using the microscope or the endoscope. In the piece 24 of a universal joint 15, guide holes 25, 26 and 27 which a wire passes through are formed. Since the guide holes are formed along a first shaft A which is not inclined, the path length of the wire never varies even when the universal joint 15 is rotated. Thus, even when forceps body is rotated, an internal wire is not pulled, thereby avoiding malfunction of gripping or flexing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
