PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubular body manufacturing method by which resin content is lowered in a manufacturing process. SOLUTION: The present invention relates to a FRP tubular body manufacturing method. The manufacturing method includes a step of winding a fiber reinforced resin member 4 containing fiber and a matrix resin around a mandrel 2 to obtain an intermediate formed body 6, a tape winding step of winding wrapping tapes 8, 10 around an outer peripheral surface of the intermediate formed body 6 with an application of tension, a curing step of curing the matrix resin in the intermediate formed body 6 having the wrapping tapes 8, 10 wound therearound and a step of pulling the mandrel 2 out and removing the wrapping tapes 8, 10 after the curing step to obtain a cured tubular body. The tape winding step comprises a first winding step of winding a fabric tape 8 around the outer peripheral surface of the intermediate formed body 6 and a second winding step of winding a rubber tape 10 therearound after the first winding step.
