<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary connector capable of realizing smooth winding-rewinding operation even if four or more of flat cables are used. <P>SOLUTION: In this rotary connector, six flat cables 3 and 4 are stored in an annular space between a stator member 1 and a rotor member in a state of reversing the winding direction in the middle, and reversing parts 3a and 4a of these flat cables are individually passed through first and second openings 12 and 13 of a holder 5 rotatably arranged inside the annular space. The one driving side flat cable 3 and the two driven side flat cables 4 are respectively derived in the annular space from cable deriving parts P12 and P2 arranged in an inner cylinder part 8b of the rotor member. The respective driving side flat cables are wound on the lowest side to an outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder part, and a width dimension in the peripheral direction of the first opening is set narrower than the second opening, and flexural strength of the respective driving side flat cables passing through the first opening is set higher than flexural strength of the residual driving side flat cables passing through the second opening. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
