PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform communications by reliably preventing the superimposition of a virtual address when virtually connecting LANs for one's home.

SOLUTION: An HGW (A) includes a virtual address information DB for storing virtual address information in association with the origination side and incoming side of call connection when a telephone set (A) is connected by call to the telephone set (B) of the LAN (B) for one's home through the use of a VOIP. When call connection is performed between the telephone set (A) and the telephone set (B), the virtual address information is acquired from the virtual address information DB, based on whether the origination side or the incoming side of the call connection. Then, the virtual address to be used in a network is determined based on the acquired virtual address information. Thus, the connection is attained by a virtual communication path with the LAN (B) for one's home with session established therein through the use of the determined virtual address, thereby communicably performing control.
