PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To register a reference from an arbitrary client environment via a network while maintaining verification accuracy at a certain level. SOLUTION: A reference production apparatus 200 produces hidden reference information and biometric authentication context information and transmits them to a client apparatus 100. The client apparatus 100 transmits the hidden reference information and biometric authentication context information to a server apparatus 300. The server apparatus 300 verifies biometric authentication context information and then registers reference information restored from hidden reference information, thereby solving the problem.
