PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna apparatus capable of electrically and independently varying a plurality of resonance frequencies. SOLUTION: An antenna apparatus 10 includes a ground plate 1, a loop line 2, conductor lines 3-6, variable reactance elements 7-9, and a power feeding section 11. The loop line 2 has a void part 21 and is spaced apart from the ground plate 1 by a predetermined distance and is disposed within a plane, substantially in parallel with the ground plate. The conductor line 3 is connected between one end 2A of the loop line 2 and the power feed section 11. The conductor line 4 is connected between another end 2B of the loop line 2 and the ground plate 1. The conductor line 5 is connected between the conductor line 3 and the ground plate 1. The conductor line 6 is connected between the conductor line 4 and the ground plate 1. The variable reactance elements 7-9 are mounted on the loop line 2, at positions which are turned from the space part 21 at 90°, 270°and 180°in a counterclockwise direction, respectively.
