PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an X-ray tube 11 of which a distance from a central axis O of the X-ray tube to an X-ray radiation window 20a in the direction perpendicular to the length direction of a filament coil 15 can be shortened. SOLUTION: A distance L1 from the central axis O of X-ray tube to the outer surface of a cathode electron gun 16 in the direction perpendicular to the length direction of the filament coil 15 is set shorter than a distance P1 from the central axis O of X-ray tube to the outer surface of the cathode electron gun 16 in the length direction of the filament coil 15. The distance from the central axis O of X-ray tube to the X-ray radiation window 20a in the direction perpendicular to the length direction of the filament coil 15 is set shorter than the distance from the central axis O of X-ray tube to an X-ray radiation window 20b in the length direction of the filament coil 15.
