PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding apparatus capable of efficiently forming a molded product having a cylindrical body having an undercut part formed therein, and to provide a molding method. SOLUTION: Provided is the molding apparatus 10 for forming the molded product 11 having the cylindrical body 12. The cylindrical body 12 has a slope part 17. The withdrawal locus L1 in the internal space of the subslide mold 20 is linear heading from one opening 15 toward the other opening 16. The withdrawal locus L2 in the internal space of the main slide mold 21 is a circular arch heading from the one opening 15 toward the other opening 16 and passes the internal space in which the subslide mold 20 has been arranged.
